Notifications
Learn more about the different types of notifications and their available settings.
You can find your email notification settings on your profile under the Email notifications tab. For each of the email notification setting you can chose between one of the following options:
- As soon as possible: Immediately receive a notification when it is created.
- In daily digest: Each morning, you will receive an email with all the notifications set to daily digest of the past day. If you did not receive any notifications, no email will be sent.
- In weekly digest: Each Monday morning, you will receive an email with all the notifications set to weekly digest of the past week. If you did not receive any notifications, no email will be sent.
- Disabled: You will not receive any notifications of this type.
Receive notifications from all users
By default, you will only receive notifications from users that are in the same group as you. If you wish to receive notifications from all users, you should change this to "All Users". For courses that do not have any groups, you will receive notifications from all users.
Deadline reminders
By default, deadline reminders are sent one day and one week in advance. If you would like to only receive reminders one day in advance, select . If you would like to only receive reminders one week in advance, select . If you would like to not receive any deadline reminders, select .
New courses
Receive an email when you are added to a new course.
New assignments
Receive an email when a new assignment is published.
Journal updates
Receive an email when a new deadline is added to your journal.
New entries
Receive an email when a new entry is posted.
Grade updates
Receive an email when you receive a grade.
Overall journal assessment updates
Receive an email when you receive an overall assessment.
New comments
Receive an email when a new comment is posted.
New journal import requests
Receive an email when a student wants to import the entries from an older journal.
New journal submitted
Receive an email when a student submits their journal for assessment
